Organs of Your Spirit - Part II

            We must accept the fact that life is primarily a spiritual experience and that the events that occur in the spiritual world have an impact on our daily experiences in the physical. Our God is a Spirit, and He is seeking those who worship Him in spirit and truth. Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and we are spiritual beings first and foremost. Therefore, it is crucial that we know the spiritual world and its principles by asking the Holy Spirit, our divine Helper, to guide us in all understanding of the actual reality of what occurs outside of the purview of the physical.  

6. Spiritual Eyes - provide us the ability to see into the spiritual realm, including angels, Lord Jesus, and visions.  You must have encountered seers and heard them testify of their encounters with the spiritual realm. 

  

And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.  

2 Kings 6: 17-18 

 

Here, the man of God, Elisha, prayed to the Lord in this passage, asking Him to open his servant's eyes to the workings of the heavenly realm (here in their favour). When the servant's eyes opened, he could see an angelic army poised to strike on their behalf. 

7. Spiritual Ears - make it possible for one to hear the sounds from the spiritual realms, such as the blowing of trumpets, the cry of babies (which could refer to conception), the dropping of coins, noise of cars colliding which would prophetically indicate an accident that you'll have to pray against, screeching voices, conversations between angels and demons, and the voices of the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God.

8. Spiritual Nose - Having a spiritual nose enables one to detect spiritual odours. We've probably all had the experience of walking into a house or a hotel that smelled weird even if it was fresh and tidied up. If you seek His direction, the Holy Spirit will assist you in understanding the spiritual activities taking place there.

9. Spiritual Tongues - Speaking in spiritual languages, also known as the gift of tongues includes human tongues, heavenly tongues, angelic tongues, and even demonic tongues. They also help us utter messages from the ancient scrolls. In Ephesians 6:19-20 we see Paul requesting a prayer so he may have the words to speak. 

"...and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak."

Ephesians 6:19-20 

Praying in tongues increases our faith even if we are not be gifted with interpretation and takes us into a supernatural experience of the heavenly realm. I've experienced outbursts of tongues during prayer when I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to sing in angelic tongues, reaching those high perfect pitch notes which I am positive I can never sing otherwise. Heavenly angels love to join and engage with us in worship.

10. Spiritual Garments - Our spirits are not naked. We are dressed in spiritual garments of salvation. 

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, 

My soul shall be joyful in my God; 

For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, 

He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, 

As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, 

And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. 

Isaiah 61:10 

When we rise in spiritual rank, our clothing will change accordingly. The colours of our clothing, viz. red, blue, gold, and their symbols matter. When you succeed or make a breakthrough — for instance, when you conquer a desire, fear, or anxiety — heaven always dons a new garment for you. Satan sees this reward on you and can grasp your spiritual ranking. 

11. Spiritual Body Ornaments  - As kings and sons of God, we are adorned with spiritual jewellery, such as necklaces, rings, etc with magnificent stones of various colours. Your spiritual jewellery will be enhanced based on your ranking. We see in the scriptures how the prodigal son received a new clothing, shoes and ornament after he returned to his father. 

But the father said to his servants, ‘Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet.  

Luke15:22 

You also would have observed certain religious spirits removing their jewellery, earrings, or weapons before departing during deliverance sessions. They adorn these people with this evil jewellery to signify spiritual possession. This is a blatant imitation of how God adorns us with spiritual jewellery to distinguish and designate us as his treasured possession. 

12. Spiritual Crowns - There are a variety of crowns, and they change depending on the spiritual level. New variety of crowns get added in accordance with promotion of rank. They come in a variety of colours, and after each victory of a believer, priceless stones are added on them. 

13. Armours and Weapons - There are flaming swords among the armour and weaponry. These can have many sorts of stones on the handle. Several shields are inscribed with mysteries. We do not use the same breastplate for all warfare; instead, each warfare has a distinct breastplate. 

        The devil may poison your conscience, transmit the improper frequencies to your spiritual organs, and cause incorrect visions and understanding to affect those organs. The strength of our strongholds determines our ability to recognise Satan. It is up to you to be careful in protecting your spiritual organs. It is the responsibility of a warrior bride.  

And for that, patience and discernment are what we need the most.
